    Description

You are bidding on a fantastic, rare antique trade catalog from Fawcus Machine Company, with works at Pittsburgh and Ford City, Pennsylvania. The catalog is from 1922 (ink stamp date of 1922 in top right corner and is for Cut Herringbone Gears.
Catalog has great illustrations. 8 pages.
Founded before 1908, this firm made specialty metalworking machines and gears. In 1928, this company became the Gears and Forgings, Inc., as the result of a merger with Van Dorn Electric Tool Co. of Cleveland and William Ganschow Co. of Chicago. In 1934 the company reorganized as Ohio Forge & Machine Corp.
I conducted a search and could not find another brochure like this for sale anywhere.
The top of catalog has some numbers/letters written on it and ink stamp "Catalog Library." Catalog shows some age and remains in overall very good condition.
Wonderful addition to a collection! Very rare!
    Great gift idea!
