    Description

The listing  is for ONE goblet
    with an Absinthe
    Spoon,
    The Fostoria P
roduced this style in 1935 until 1943.
These goblets have the bottom bowl for one ounce  absinthe .
The  glass will fill to a comfortable level at Seven  ounces more liquid.
These Glassed are thicker bodied and not as fragile  as most absinthe  glasses.
They are Beautiful and serve the purpose well.
Absinthe was outlawed in the United States in 1912 and was illegal in until 2007. Prior to that, this green liquor had a long history in the United States (and in South and Central America).
New Orleans and its French Quarter were the most popular places in the United States to consume absinthe.
Although Absinthe was banned in the USA during the time these were made.
I think Fostoria knew what they were producing.
This 8 ounce Goblet is 5 3/4" high.
The top is 3 1/4" in diameter.
These are clean , undamaged clear glass.
    No chips or cracks.
    Beautiful  Reflective Graphics.
The absinthe spoon is brushed stainless steel.
It has an attractive pattern and is 7" long.
It fits across the top of these glassed perfectly.
