    Description

Very rare tip / pin tray showing Gage Park in Topeka Kansas.
Gage Park is a city park of 160 acres in Topeka, Kansas, United States. It was established in 1899 and is one of the largest parks in Topeka. It features the Topeka zoo, a miniature train, and the Reinish Rose Garden. This piece is labeled "Entrance to Gage Park" and shows two period automobiles. The entrance itself is marked 1910, so we know this dates after that. Since missing the words "Made in..." on the country of origin, this dates to pre-WW1.
    Hallmarks: {image for unknown maker} ~ "Bavaria"
    Dimensions: 5" diameter x 3/8" profile depth

Remember, when buying vintage expect imperfections as these items have a history and have been in the possession of others. I try to list EVERY flaw which would be commented on something in an antique or vintage condition – this does not mean all imperfections resulting from normal wear & use require comment. My goal is to have no rude surprises upon receipt.
