    Description

A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stamps issued in 1940 as part of the Famous American series of stamps to honor Cyrus McCormick who revolutionized farming techniques with his to horse drawn reaper that cut and gathered crops. He was elected to the French Academy of Sciences. The academy was on record as saying McCormick had done more for farming than any living man. His company eventually became International Harvester.
These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office 77 years ago! Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift for your favorite farmer!
