    Remember this is a 500 Watt bulb and gets very hot.
    Another note. The bulb is rated for 6 hours of use. The testing is done by turning on 10 bulbs. When the 5th one burns out leaving 5 still operating, that is the average life. Some burn out in a couple of hours and some last over 6 hours.
