    Remember this is a 500 Watt bulb and gets very hot.
    Another note. The bulb is rated for 60 hours of use. The testing is done by turning on 10 bulbs. When the 5th one burns out leaving 5 still operating, that is the average life. Some burn out in a couple of hours and some last over 60 hours.
