Evinrude Johnson OMC Bow Mount Trolling Motor Foot Control 36" Shaft 12v BF2P

You are looking at a used 12 Volt Electric Trolling Motor OMC Foot Controlled 36 inch shaft. This is a silver metallic blue and white EVINRUDE version model BF2P I believe manufactured in the 1980s.
It has some minor issues: the top of the cable harness near the motor head shows fraying of the outer reinforcement cables. The internal cable functions as it should turning the motor as you pivot the foot pedal. Next, the arrow spins but seems to slip a little once in a while and the cover is loose. My guess is the screws that fasten it are replacement ones too long for the job. Easily replace them for a tighter fit.  Otherwise it's all intact as shown. I just wanted to disclose those issues here.

All 3 speeds settings work and the dial adjusts speeds as it should. Cables all great and foot pedal is smooth. You will be very happy with this solid OMC product...they just don't make them as good as they used to!!!
These motors are becoming extremely rare and hard to find.
This auction is for the motor only. I may have tilt brackets and rest pans listed separately.
