    Description

    This a Sheaffer Targa fountain pen, in the fluted gold plated finish with gold plated trim.  It is unusual because it has the seal of the United States Army on top of the cap, in gold, against a black background. This pen is in excellent condition, bright and shiny. Included is a converter, which permits you to use bottled ink. It would also take Sheaffer cartridges. It was made in the 1970s while Sheaffer was still a U.S. company.  It comes in a red Sheaffer box with instructional leaflet. A handsome everyday pen and very collectible. You will not find a nicer pen with smoother nib than the Targa.
