This antique tray is a souvenir from Iola, Kansas.  It features an illustration of Iola's "Big Gun," a high pressure, natural gas well.  The illustration also shows "The News" building in the background.
The tray measures 13 5/8" x 8 1/8".  According to the mark on this bottom, this was made in Austria by Wheelock for Evans Bros, a store that was located in Iola.
Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or crazing.  As you're looking at the front of the piece, there's a "U" shaped curve along the top edge of the design that's about 4" from the center.  With the naked eye there appears to be a 3/8" line to the lower-left of this spot.  When you magnify it, you can see that it's not a crack.  I believe it's some misplaced paint or colorant.
