    From the estate of a US Navy serviceman stationed in Japan following its surrender in World War II, this lot contains:
    Invitation and Ticket dated Nov 1, 1944 for graduation exercises of the 5th class of reserve midshipmen at the US Naval Reserve Midshipmen's School at Cornell University
    19 b+w photos of Japanese buildings and shrines, studio photo of M Fujioka, Japanese servicemen, US ships (including Missouri?) US sailors with Japanese flags, Japanese military encampment, US Navy officers with translator and officials etc
    Card of S Kitamura, Attache, Tokyo Harbour Bureau, Shibaura Tokyo
    2 Japanese collar tabs in box.
    Some of the items have Japanese lettering.
