Montegrappa Symphony Rollerball

Description

This is a Montegrappa Symphony rollerball pen from the late 1990's, in beautiful streaked red celluloid.  It is a full-sized pen, at 13.8cm long and 1.1cm across.  It is faceted, with eight sides, and the base of the barrel is threaded to match the cap threads for posting.
It is probably new old stock, having come to me from a stationery seller, in whose store it was held since 1999. It is in excellent condition, having been throughly cleaned and hand polished. It comes with a fresh refill already installed. This is a handsome pen, unlike any rollerball one might see in normal use. It comes with its original box, polishing cloth, and Montegrappa brochure. The outer cardboard box show a little shelf wear on the corners; this can be seen in the photo. The inside presentation box was inside the outer box the entire time, so shows no wear whatever.
