Description
PICKUP IN in Either Central Indiana or the Cincinnati, Ohio, Area -- NO SHIPPINGHere's a one-of-a-kind pinball item. This is the original backglass painting that appeared on Bally's 1981 BEAT THE CLOCK pinball machine. Hand painted by Bally artist Tony Ramunni. This isn't a reprint, a reproduction, a copy, or a one-off --
it's the
ORIGINAL
artwork which all of the screened backglasses were made from
. If you've been looking for a unique item to add to your collection of pinball memorabilia or original artwork, this is it.
The artwork pictures scenes of several competitive sports. There's a giant stopwatch pictured in the center of the artwork because the game features a constantly ticking "clock" which ticks down the time units remaining in the game (rather than the number of balls remaining to be played), and the idea of the game was to hit certain playfield targets to "stop the clock" and increase the game time. Artist Ramunni signed his name in the lower right corner of the painting.
Original pinball backglass artwork is rarely offered for sale to the public. This painting has been professionally framed with museum glass to prevent fading. The painting is the same size as the backglass itself. This painting is in mint condition with no flaws or damage.
