PICKUP IN in Either Central Indiana or the Cincinnati, Ohio, Area -- NO SHIPPINGHere's a one-of-a-kind pinball item. This is the original backglass painting that appeared on Bally's 1985 EIGHT BALL CHAMP pinball machine. Hand painted by Bally artist Tony Ramunni. This isn't a reprint, a reproduction, a copy, or a one-off --
it's the
ORIGINAL
artwork which all of the screened backglasses were made from
. If you've been looking for a unique item to add to your collection of pinball memorabilia or original artwork, this is it.
The artwork pictures two turn-of-the-century pool sharks engaged in a game of pool. The two players bear a striking resemblance to two Bally employees. Not coincidentally, the only three pool balls with visible numbers are the 7, 8, and 5 balls, and this painting was created in July of 1985. Artist Ramunni signed his name in the lower right corner of the painting.
Original pinball backglass artwork is rarely offered for sale to the public. This painting has been professionally framed with museum glass to prevent fading. The painting is the same size as the backglass itself. This painting is in mint condition with no flaws or damage.
