Disposal information
The following notice concerns the handling of goods by end users if these goods consist of batteries or if these goods contain batteries.
Take-back of used batteries free of charge:
Batteries may not be disposed with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries so that proper disposal can be guaranteed. You can dispose of used batteries at a municipal collection point or in local stores. The SELLER, as a distributor of batteries, is obliged to take back used batteries, whereby his obligation to take back batteries is limited to used batteries of the type that he offers and sells or has offered or sold as new batteries. You can send old batteries of the aforementioned type to the SELLER with sufficient postage or return them free of charge directly to the SELLER's registered office.
Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can. Batteries may not be disposed with household waste. Batteries that contain more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury, more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium or more than 0.004 mass percent lead are indicated by the corresponding information under the garbage can as follows with the respective short form of the chemical name ("Cd" for cadmium, "Pb" for Lead and "Hg" for mercury):

Environmentally friendly disposal of waste electrical equipment
In accordance with the provisions of the Electrical and Electronic Cold Equipment Act (ElektroG), we are obliged to take back electrical equipment that we have supplied and to ensure that it is reused or disposed of and to inform you of the following.
Electrical equipment is marked with this crossed-out wheelie bin. It means that batteries and old devices must not be disposed of with household waste or unsorted municipal waste.
Old electrical devices contain harmful substances and resources. The harmful substances can have negative effects on health and the environment.
As a consumer, you are legally obliged to have old electrical appliances disposed of at an authorized collection point, for example at a collection point in the local community or the part. You can also hand in old electrical equipment to a collection point near you.
This ensures that the old devices are properly recycled and negative effects on the environment are avoided.
At suitable collection points, old electrical appliances are accepted free of charge and sent for environmentally friendly recycling.
Deletion of personal data
Please note that personal data may still be on the old electrical device. Every consumer is responsible for the deletion of personal data on the electrical or Electronic device responsible. If your personal data is not securely deleted from the electrical equipment to be disposed of, it cannot be guaranteed that this data will not fall into the hands of unauthorized persons.
Disposal of contained batteries and illuminants
Please remove removable old batteries, old rechargeable batteries and illuminants before handing in the device for disposal. Please dispose of both separately.
