Description
This is an original antique 1929 paperback version of Popular Mechanics in Good condition. There are no missing pages, and the spine is good. There is some uniform staining/discoloration from age and the back cover has some scuffing. There aren't any dog-eared pages. Overall very nice. It is 6.5" x 9.5" and has 205 pages plus a couple of pages of ads at the end. It ships via Media Mail by default, but this can be upgraded at checkout (delivery options).Visit my store for more antique and vintage tools and tool parts. My items are carefully packaged and shipped out on the same day payment is received, as long as payment is received by 3 pm Central Time (subject to post office hours, holidays, weekends, etc.)
I have a lot of common and some hard-to-find tool parts that are not listed in my store. If you are not able to find what you need, feel free to send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. All of my listed items have been inspected and tested to provide the best possible description. In some cases, parts may be brushed off with a soft-bristled brush, such as a paint brush, to remove surface dust or debris for photos. Unless otherwise noted, parts have not been cleaned beyond this. Although most of my items sell very quickly, metal parts may contain a small layer of oil, WD-40, grease, or similar substance to preserve the item and prevent rusting while it is in inventory. ALL inventory is stored in an environment where climate and humidity are controlled to ensure each item is received in the same condition in which it is presented in the listing. Unless otherwise noted in the listing, photos are of the exact item you will receive. Every single item is listed and packaged by myself and I take pride in carefully packaging all items, regardless of purchase amount. Creating a positive experience for you, the buyer, is my top priority.
Positive feedback is left for all buyers as soon as payment is received because by paying for an item you have fulfilled your obligation in the agreement.
When applicable, I try to grade the condition of every tool and part objectively using John Walter's grading system from his "Antique & Collectible Stanley Tools" price guide as described below. This is not necessarily an industry standard for grading, and grading vocabulary will vary from collector to collector since there is some subjectivity involved (i.e. "mint" vs. "near mint"). For these reasons, I will also try to list a description of these grades in each listing in order to clarify the grade given to each item. Please refer to the details below and read the "condition" portion of this listing for the condition grading assigned to this item.
