Rare ACME Proust Alessandro Mendini Rollerball ( Roller Ball ) Pen In Case

Up for auction is a really nice roller ball pen. Based on what I've found online, it appears to be an Alessandro Mendini Proust Pen by ACME, and I've read that he is/was an Italian Designer. I was given this as a Christmas gift, and since I don't use pens like this for anything, I just stuck it in the closet, where it has sat for a while. I don't collect these, nor do I know anything about pens like this, so please look at the photos to decide what you think it is worth. I would rather let someone else buy this who collects these, instead of just letting it sit in my closet. I have listed this as used, because I genuinely don't know if it has ever been used. While I have never used it, I don't know if it has an ink thing inside of it, since I've never tried to use it. It is exactly as it was given to me, in the little silver case, with a plastic wrapped refill, and the tag with the artist still attached. There is also a little brochure like thing in the case, too. I don't want to break or damage it, so I have never tried twisting it or anything to see if there is an ink thing in it. You will get the exact pen in the foam in the case that you see, so thank you for looking, and good luck bidding!
