    Description

This is a new, sealed Retro 51 rollerball pen, a Limited Edition Jupiter steam locomotive inspired rollerball, commemorating the completion of the First Transcontinental Railroad in 1869. The pen is limited to 500 units.
The Jupiter rollerball was inspired by the Jupiter steam locomotive, one of the trains that made history at Promontory Point, Utah, during the Golden Spike ceremony marking the completion of the First Transcontinental Railroad in 1869.
Jupiter, officially known as Central Pacific Railroad #60, was a 4-4-0 steam locomotive owned by the Central Pacific Railroad and is the sibling to the Leviathan.
The Retro 51 Jupiter rollerball pen pays homage to this historic locomotive with designs integrated into the pen. From the Jupiter name on the blue tender, the number 60, driving wheels, and other details, including, of course, the cowcatcher -- a stark reminder to keep your cows from napping on railroad tracks.
