We are delighted to announce our new line of Officially Licensed collectible pens celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Dave Stevens’ The Rocketeer! We’ve partnered with Okkto and The Rocketeer Trust to bring you five gorgeous new pens, all paying tribute to Dave’s iconic comic book character and exquisite art.
Brought to life in 1982 by writer / artist Dave Stevens, The Rocketeer is an exciting and beautifully illustrated homage to the Saturday matinee serial heroes from the 1930s through the 1950s. In 1938 Los Angeles, Cliff Secord, a local racing pilot and barnstormer, discovers a rocket pack hidden by two gangsters fleeing the police. When he decides to take it for a spin, his life is turned upside down – in more ways than one! Cliff's pulpy adventures are set in Los Angeles and New York, and Stevens gave them a retro, nostalgic feel influenced by the King of the Rocket Men and Commando Cody movie serials, as well as pinup diva Bettie Page.

First Flight - Artist’s Edition
– This black & white version of the “First Flight” rollerball pen captures Dave’s original art as seen in the “Artist’s Edition” of the comic! With glossy black accents and a special top disc featuring Dave’s initials, this variant is perfect for the serious comic book fan and collector. Each pen is numbered on the top ring and packaged in a graphic tube featuring a collage of pages straight from the comic book!
