Description
A regal English fine bone china, rectangular scalloped edged serving tray with tab handles embossed with scroll detail. Decorated with the Royal Chelsea Golden Rose pattern produced in the late 1940's to celebrate the royal wedding of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip. The translucent white china is lavishly gilded with brushed gold and the design features bouquets of vibrant English roses, buds & tendrils in blended tones of magenta and yellow set amidst green foliage. Hand painted highlights and brilliant stippled gold rims completes the decoration of this opulent serving tray.

Condition
The used vintage tray is offered in very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Commensurate with its 70 + year old vintage, there is some age related wear, light crazing, scratches on the gilding, particularly around the edges.
