    Description

    Utilizing one of Japan's most famous and time-honored maki-e raden techniques, Taccia introduces five masterfully designed pen models cultivated from mother-of-pearl, abalone, and egg shells - drawing its inspiration from two of the most beautiful seasons on Earth - Autumn and Winter. The Taccia Rade Reserve LE Collection is limited to 50 pieces worldwide in each design.
    The TACCIA Raden Reserve Autumn Rustle is crafted from ebonite with raden and Tsugaru-nuri urushi. Tsugaru-nuri (津軽塗) is a regional form of lacquerwork from Tsugaru, Aomori prefecture in Japan. The technique involves creating a textured surface with embedded pieces of raden which are then lacquered with gold and copper powders and polished smooth to reveal intricate patterns.
    The TACCIA Raden Reserve LE comes with a specially fitted Japanese 14K gold nib made by the highly regarded Sailor Pen Company.
    This particular pen is in near mint condition! It has been inked, but flushed thoroughly for the new owner. It looks magnificent overall!
