Vintage 1934 Official Signed US Patent Certificate Auto Emergency Brake Release

An original vintage U.S. Patent certificate dated 1934 along with a lot of correspondence and mechanical drawings for this patent - which was an automatic brake release for vehicles. This invention automatically releases the emergency brake rather than begin riving with the emergency brake engaged. This patent was undoubtedly sold to a manufacturing company and this invention was used through the decades in our passenger and work vehicles. There is a lot of "provenance" in this group of documents - many auto manufacturing companies such as Ford, General Motors, Nash, Hudson, Pierce-Arrow, Studebaker, Duesenberg, and Willys-Overland. Most are "rejection" letters, but it is part of the story told on this invention which is well documented with this assortment of ephemera.
