    Canvas bags were used to ship money (currency or coin) and checks by banks until the late 90's
    They were secured with string clamped tightly with a lead seal that had to be cut to open the bag.
    Wilmington Trust was a popular Delaware Bank founded in1903 and acquired by M&T Bank in 2011.
