VINTAGE GREENSBURG KANSAS BIG WELL SOUVENIR STATE AUTO WINDOW TRAVEL DECAL RARE

They don't come much rarer than this original 1940s souvenir water decal from GREENSBURG, KANSAS, featuring the Big Well - The Largest Hand Dug Well in the World.
An interesting piece of early vintage travel art, this oversized decal is highly detailed and measures 2 7/8" wide by over 5 1/2" tall. It is badly cut on the left side which only adds to its uniqueness and rarity.
This decal is in very good condition despite decades of storage, but has light creasing, and curling of the background card, slight edgewear and corner bending. The colors are quite muted, but the overall look of the decal has to be seen to be truly appreciated.
The old museum at the Big Well was destroyed in a tornado in 2007, and this decal is one of the few souvenirs that remain from the 1940s heyday. Don't miss your chance to add it to your collection.
