Made of plastic, they are designed to look like glass beads
They are VERY light in weight

I pack and ship early in the morning (and I'm on Eastern Time).  If an item is paid for by 7:00 am Eastern Time, it will ship that day - otherwise it will ship first thing the next morning.  I ship Monday through Friday.  So anything paid for after 7 am on Friday will ship on the following Monday.
