About the Pen:
In the watch industry skeleton means "cut-out-mechanism".   This pen is a matt finish sold 925 Sterling Silver cutout overlay, this over a large clear resin body forms the basis for this striking rollerball pen.
I purchased this fountain pen from Jimmy at Total Office Products in Atlanta, GA in July 2005.  Jimmy is a well-known and respected pen dealer within the pen collector community for selling high-end/high quality pens.   I am the original and only owner of this magnificent rollerball pen!
It has never been used and has sat in my pen closet, in a smoke free home, since I purchased it.  The Visconti ink cartridge in the pen has dried out over all these years, so it will need a new ink refill (a few dollars available online from your favorite pen dealer or Amazon).
Note that the outer Visconti cardboard box is “odd”, it is the original box that was provided to me with the pen, but the inner Visconti box can slide back and forth about an inch within the outer cardboard Visconti packaging box.  I find this odd that Visconti would design such a sloppy fit to their outer cardboard box and perhaps it was meant for a different Visconti pen?   It is something I never noticed when I original purchased the pen.  It is a minor point, but just seemed odd to me.  There is no Certificate of Authenticity (COA) with the pen, which I guess is normal since it is not a limited edition Visconti pen.
The Pen is in MINT, ORIGNAL CONDITION as it has NEVER been used and has sat all these years in my closet!
