Scarce original vintage wartime photograph shows part of a Japanese destroyed tank or combat vehicle.
Sign in front reads, “SCRAP IRON FOR U.S.A.”
Two names on wreckage, “HOKUETU” was a Japanese car company and “YANMAR” was a diesel engine maker.
Photograph measures 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches and is in excellent condition with no bends, tears, or creases and is very sharp and has strong tones with good contrast and clarity.
